01 / Wallets

Start with the contents

Notes, cards and coins determine the layout. A flap or zip-around format changes the opening, usable space and thickness when filled. Specify both open and closed measurements.

02 / Cardholders

Make a compact layout work

Define the slot count, depth and intended capacity. Review access, grip and pocket layers on the filled sample, where small changes in thickness matter.

The development drawing

Draw the inside as carefully as the outside

  1. 01 / Number the compartments

Mark card slots, note sections, coin pockets and the parts of the lining that remain visible.

  2. 02 / Review the layers

Leather thickness, pocket folds and lining all contribute to the finished bulk. Check the product with its intended contents.

  3. 03 / Place the branding

Supply the artwork and mark its size and position, alongside labels, stitching and edge treatment.
