Farhan Exports / Totes & shoppers

Leather tote bag manufacturer in India.

A tote starts with what it needs to carry. Farhan Exports develops leather totes and shoppers around your proportions, materials and branding, with in-house sampling before bulk production.

Structure or a softer silhouette?

A tote can be carried on the shoulder; the broader shoulder-bag category also includes compact and relaxed shapes.

The specification

Build the tote around its use

Your reference images set a direction. Dimensions and construction notes make that direction usable for sampling.

Capacity & base
Give top width, base width, height and depth. Include the dimensions of a document folder, laptop sleeve or other contents that must fit.
Handles & reinforcement
Set handle drop and width. Review attachments, base construction and comfort with the sample filled.
Opening & interior
Specify an open top, zip or fastening. Draw lining, pockets and compartments, including their usable dimensions.
Finish & branding
Record seams, edges, logo placement and label artwork. Share dust-bag, carton and barcode requirements with the product brief.

Three decisions before sampling

  1. 01 / The carry

Check the handle drop by hand and on the shoulder. A comfortable empty bag can behave differently when filled.

  2. 02 / The structure

Decide how much shape the bag should hold. Review leather thickness, reinforcement and base construction together.

  3. 03 / The approved version

Mark changes on sample photographs, then keep the agreed measurements and components in one dated specification.
